六問：夫言無情說法者，為是名本清淨法性為無情說法？為是指草木瓦礫為無情說法？若本清淨法性為無情說法者，此性橫遍竪窮，生佛平等，不應言說法也。縱有言說，誰為聽受？若指草木瓦礫為無情說法者，教相如何分別耶？

Sixth question: When it is said that insentient beings preach the Dharma, does this refer to the originally pure dharmatā as insentient beings preaching the Dharma, or does it point to grasses, trees, tiles, and pebbles as insentient beings preaching the Dharma? If the originally pure dharmatā is insentient beings preaching the Dharma, this nature horizontally pervades and vertically exhausts [all realms], being equal between sentient beings and buddhas; one should not speak of preaching the Dharma. Even if there were speech, who would listen and receive it? If it points to grasses, trees, tiles, and pebbles as insentient beings preaching the Dharma, how should the doctrinal characteristics be differentiated?
