答：若在前者，即是實因。若在後者，即為淨佛國土之因也。故知依此經意，偏示正因，行不輕行，即速疾取土而得成佛。故云：受持此經，為人說故，疾得佛道是也。

Answer: If it was before, it was the real cause. If it was after, it was the cause of purifying the buddha-land. Therefore we know that according to the intention of this sūtra, it specifically demonstrates the right cause: practicing the practice of Sadāparibhūta immediately takes the land swiftly and attains buddhahood. Hence it states: 'Upholding this sūtra and expounding it for others, one swiftly attains the buddha way.' This is it.
