答：他宗言權者，乃是高位聖人為軌下凡故示近成。若天台云實者，顯佛乘權巧妙力，開性海不思議真常，一念發心便成正覺。故疏引經云：法性如大海，不說有是非。凡夫賢聖人，平等無高下，唯在心垢淨，取證如反掌。舍利弗舉女人五障以為疑，智積明積劫行行而作難，龍女以圓珠獻佛息眾疑心，何至今日更存猶豫故。

Answer: What other schools call provisional means that a sage of a high stage, in order to serve as a model for low ordinary beings, provisionally manifests a recent attainment. When Tiantai calls it real, it reveals the expedient and wondrous power of the Buddha vehicle, unlocking the inconceivable, true and eternal nature-ocean, where in a single thought of generating the mind one immediately attains correct enlightenment. Hence the commentary cites a sūtra saying: "The Dharma-nature is like a great sea; it does not speak of right and wrong. Ordinary persons and noble sages are equal without high or low; it depends solely on the defilement or purity of the mind, and seizing realization is like turning over one's palm." Śāriputra raised the woman's five obstacles as a doubt, and Jñānaprabha explained the cultivation of practices across accumulated kalpas as an objection; the dragon girl presented the round jewel to the Buddha, putting to rest the doubts of the assembly. Why, reaching this day, should any hesitation still remain?
