持姪山主。又加法臘，必益道腴，經理住持，諒皆成就。二子在院，粗著工夫，無勞挂慮。此來丐士更須棲依，希更周旋也。秋暑猶盛，切在將調，期成二利之行。或入郡城，到院相見是望。不宣。城隅老叔（押）達上吾姪永安山主（七月十九日書）。

Nephew Chi, Mountain Master: As your monastic age has increased again, your enrichment in the Way must have grown, and your management of the monastery has surely reached completion. The two boys are in the cloister and applying their efforts roughly; there is no need to worry about them. The begging monks coming this time also need shelter and reliance; I hope you will accommodate them further. The autumn heat is still intense; it is crucial to regulate your health, hoping to accomplish the practice of benefiting both self and others. If you enter the commandery city, I look forward to meeting you at the cloister. No more to state. Old Uncle of the city wall (sign-manual). Delivered up to my nephew, the Mountain Master of Yong'an.
