制禪林寺僧羲寂，得大師子玄等奏，於本寺為國講法華經文句疏等具悉。蓋精名德，是罄功勤。閱覽之時尤多嘉媿，故茲詔示，想宜知悉，遣書指不多及。十三日。

Imperial decree to the monk Xiji of the Chanlin Monastery: Having received the memorial from Master Zixuan and others stating that you have lectured on the commentary on the words and phrases of the Saddharmapuṇḍarīka Sūtra and so forth for the state at your home monastery, all has been fully learned. Your quintessential renown and virtue have thoroughly applied diligence and merit. Upon perusal, my praise and humility are especially deep. Therefore, I issue this decree; it is expected that you should know of it. I shall not extend this letter's points further. The thirteenth day.
