智者圓宗，然師後躅，代產奇士，
溫其如玉。興教劬勞，誨人委曲，
法海揚帆，昏衢秉燭。錫振何處，
塔局深谷，法子法孫，燈燈相續。

The Perfect School of Zhizhe, / Followed in the footsteps of Master Zhanran; / Generations produce extraordinary masters, / Gentle and warm like jade. / Exerting toil to revive the teaching, / Instructing men with thorough care, / Hoisting sails on the sea of Dharma, / Holding torches on dark paths. / Where does his staff now shake? / His pagoda is secluded in the deep ravine. / Dharma sons and Dharma grandsons / Pass the lamp from generation to generation.
