靈山一席，儼在天台，後十三葉，
復生奇才。唱道四明，講肆宏開，
溥海聲聞，𧮯𧮯雲雷。章聖在御，
中使鼎來，得法大旨，皇心恢恢，
錫號法智，宸章昭回。抵今後學，
咸仰崔嵬，蘭馨菊芳，本一根荄。

The single assembly at Gṛdhrakūṭa / Was visibly present at Tiantai. / Thirteen generations later, / A marvelous talent was born again. / Preaching the Way at Siming, / He broadly opened his lecture hall. / His fame was heard across the wide seas, / Roaring like clouds and thunder. / When Emperor Zhangsheng was on the throne, / Palace envoys arrived one after another. / Grasping the grand tenets of the Dharma, / The imperial heart was vastly pleased. / Bestowing the title ‘Fazhi’, / The sovereign’s composition shone brightly. / Reaching down to later students today, / All revere his soaring height. / The fragrance of orchids and the perfume of chrysanthemums / Stem from this single root.
