"Using the merit of praising the Buddhas and cultivating the unexcelled roots of goodness of the Mahāyāna, I dedicate the blessings to the upper realms' devas, nāgas, and the eight classes, Mahābrahmā the Heavenly King, the Thirty-Three Heavens, the five destinies of Yama, the eight kings of the six fast days, the ghost kings who spread disease, each with their retinues, the spirits and deities of this land, and those who protect the true Dharma within the saṅghārāma; furthermore, on behalf of the kings and emperors of the state, the ten thousand people of the realm, teachers, monks, parents, good and evil spiritual friends, dānapatis who build temples, donors from the ten directions, and extending broadly to all sentient beings of the dharmadhātu: may they rely upon these roots of goodness, equally perfuming and cultivating the two kinds of adornment—merit and wisdom—and together assembling at the unproduced, attaining the path of the knowledge of all aspects." (One should immediately know that the actions of body, speech, and mind pervade the dharmadhātu, praising the Three Jewels as non-arising and non-perishing, without self-nature.)
