一心奉請南無第一威德成就眾事大功德天。（行者應念，此菩薩即是道場法門之主。當殷勤三請，希望來至。請已，各放香爐，即便合掌胡跪，誦持本呪，若七遍、若多遍。此呪正是召命天女及其徒屬，切在精專，一心致請，必望下降，果剋所求，令不虛爾。）

Single-mindedly I invoke and invite: Namo Supreme Majestic Virtue Accomplisher of All Affairs Great Guṇadevī. (The practitioner should consider that this bodhisattva is the lord of this bodhimaṇḍa's Dharma-gate. One should earnestly invoke three times, wishing for her to arrive. Having invoked, each puts down the incense burner, and then joins palms, kneels on one knee, and recites and upholds the root dhāraṇī, either seven times or many times. This dhāraṇī is precisely for summoning the Devī and her retinue; it is crucial to be focused and dedicated, single-mindedly making the invocation, certainly hoping for her descent, so that one successfully attains what was sought, ensuring it is not in vain.)
