（應心念言：「我及眾生，無始常為三業六根重罪所障，不見諸佛不知出要，但順生死不知妙理。我今雖知，由與眾生同為一切重罪所障，今對觀音十方佛前，普為眾生歸命懺悔，唯願加護令障消滅。」念已唱云：）

(One should contemplate in mind and say: "Myself and sentient beings, from beginningless time, have always been obstructed by the grave sins of the three karmas and six sense faculties; we do not see the Buddhas, do not know the essential way of deliverance, and merely follow birth-and-death without knowing the wondrous principle. Though I now know this, since I am, together with sentient beings, equally obstructed by all grave sins, I now before Avalokiteśvara and the Buddhas of the ten directions universally take refuge and repent on behalf of sentient beings. I only pray that your protective empowerment will cause these obstacles to be extinguished." Having contemplated this, chant:)
