若欲施水，取水一掬，用甘露呪呪之七遍，散於空中。其水一滴即皆變成十斛甘露，一切餓鬼並得飲之，無有之少皆得飽足。甘露呪曰：
If one wishes to give water, one takes a handful of water, recites the Amṛta Mantra over it seven times, and scatters it into the air. Each drop of that water immediately transforms into ten hu of amṛta; all hungry ghosts drink it together, none lacking, and all are fully sated. The Amṛta Mantra is:
