第八、依《海龍王經》：「時海龍王白佛言：『世尊！弟子求生阿彌陀佛國，當修何行，得生彼土？』佛告龍王：『若欲生彼國者，當行八法。何等為八？一者、常念諸佛；二者、供養如來；三者、咨嗟世尊；四者、作佛形像，修諸功德；五者、迴願往生；六者、心不怯弱；七者、一心精進；八者、求佛正慧。』佛告龍王：『一切眾生具斯八法，常不離佛也。』」

Eighth, according to the Sāgaranāgarāja-sūtra: "At that time the Sāgara Nāga King addressed the Buddha: 'Bhagavat! Your disciple seeks rebirth in the land of Amitābha Buddha. What practices should I cultivate to attain rebirth in that land?' The Buddha told the Nāga King: 'If you wish to be reborn in that land, you should cultivate eight practices. What are the eight? First, constantly bear all buddhas in mind; second, make offerings to the Tathāgata; third, praise the Bhagavat; fourth, make images of the Buddha and cultivate all merits; fifth, dedicate vows for rebirth; sixth, have no faintness of heart; seventh, be single-mindedly diligent; eighth, seek the Buddha's correct wisdom.' The Buddha told the Nāga King: 'All sentient beings who possess these eight practices will never be separated from the Buddha.'"
