1.67

又如《無量壽經》云，佛告阿難：「其有眾生生彼國者，皆悉住於正定之聚。十方諸佛皆共讚歎彼佛。若有眾生，聞其名號、信心歡喜，乃至一念願生彼國，即得往生住不退轉。」又以此經證，亦是證生增上緣。

Furthermore, as the Infinite Life Sūtra says, the Buddha addressed Ānanda: "Those sentient beings who are born in that land all abide in the assembly of the definitely determined stage (samyaktva-niyata-rāśi). The Buddhas of the ten directions all together praise that Buddha. If there are sentient beings who hear his name and rejoice with faithful mind, desiring down to a single thought to be born in that land, they will immediately attain rebirth and abide in the stage of non-retrogression (avaivartika)." Again taking this sūtra as proof, this too is the adhipati-pratyaya of certifying rebirth.
