5.26

問曰：如諸論中俱引契經，說有黑黑業、白白業、雜業、非黑白無異熟業。黑黑業者，欲界不善業也。白白業者，色無色界善業。雜業者，欲界善業也。非黑白無異熟業者，無漏業也。未知今造西方業者，四業之中何業攝耶？

Question: In the various treatises, sūtras are commonly cited as stating that there are dark-dark karma, bright-bright karma, mixed karma, and neither-dark-nor-bright karma without maturation. 'Dark-dark karma' is unwholesome karma of the desire realm. 'Bright-bright karma' is wholesome karma of the form and formless realms. 'Mixed karma' is wholesome karma of the desire realm. 'Neither-dark-nor-bright karma without maturation' is uncontaminated karma. We do not yet know: among these four karmas, by which karma is the presently created karma for the Western [Direction] subsumed?
