6.22

問曰：何故《稱讚淨土經》說「西方去此世界過百千俱胝那庾多佛土」，此即四遠之中，是於處遠；《觀經》乃言「阿彌陀佛去此不遠」。二文相違，請辨其義。

Question: Why does the Chengzan jingtu jing say, "To the west, crossing beyond hundreds of thousands of koṭis of nayutas of Buddha lands from this world..." which, among the four kinds of distance, is spatial distance; whereas the Guan jing says, "Amitābha Buddha is not far from here"? The two texts contradict each other; please differentiate their meaning.
