問曰：報土淳淨，妙絕三有，所化眾生已超分段，此土出乎三界，理亦易信。而化土雖淨，其淨未妙，所化眾生復在地前，此土為當在三界攝、為當不攝耶？

Question: The saṃbhoga land is genuinely pure, wonderfully transcending the three existences; the sentient beings transformed there have already surpassed [the birth and death of] physical limitation. That this land transcends the three realms is also easy in principle to believe. However, although the nirmāṇa land is pure, its purity is not yet marvelous, and the sentient beings transformed there are still before the bhūmis. Is this land subsumed under the three realms, or is it not subsumed?
