"Infinite is his light and wisdom,
his body is like a mountain of pure gold;
with body, speech, and mind I now
join my palms and bow my head in worship.
His wondrous golden light
pervades all worlds;
it enhances its color in accord with things,
therefore I bow my head in worship.
If at the time of death someone
attains rebirth in that land,
they immediately possess immeasurable virtues,
therefore I take refuge.
If one can be mindful of this Buddha's
immeasurable power and merit,
one immediately enters the definitely assured,
therefore I am ever mindful of him.
When the people of that land pass away,
even if they were to undergo various sufferings,
they do not fall into the terrible hells,
therefore I take refuge and worship.
If people are born in that land,
they never fall into the evil destinies
or among the asuras;
I now take refuge and worship.
The bodies of humans and devas share the same marks,
just like the summit of a golden mountain,
the place to which all superior beings turn,
therefore I bow with head to the ground.
Those who are born in that land
possess the supernormal divine eye and ear,
completely unimpeded in the ten directions;
I bow my head to the most venerable among sages.
The sentient beings of that land
have supernormal transformations and bodily powers,
and also possess knowledge of past lives,
therefore I take refuge and worship.
Those born in that land
have no 'I' and no 'mine';
no distinction between 'this' and 'that' arises,
therefore I bow my head in worship.
Having escaped the prison of the three realms,
their eyes are like lotus petals;
the assembly of śrāvakas is immeasurable,
therefore I bow my head in worship.
The sentient beings of that land
are all gentle and compliant by nature;
they naturally practice the ten good deeds;
I bow my head to the king of all sages.
From goodness arises pure brightness;
in immeasurable and boundless places
he is the foremost among two-footed beings,
therefore I take refuge.
If someone vows to become a buddha
and is mindful in thought of Amitābha,
he will instantly manifest a body before them,
therefore I take refuge.
By the power of that Buddha's original vows,
the bodhisattvas of the ten directions
come to make offerings to the holy Dharma,
therefore I bow my head.
The bodhisattvas of that land
are fully endowed with the marks and signs,
all adorning their own bodies;
I now take refuge and worship.
The great bodhisattvas of that land
every day during the three periods of the day
make offerings to the buddhas of the ten directions,
therefore I bow my head in worship.
If someone plants good roots,
if they doubt, the lotus flower does not open;
for those whose faith is pure,
the flower opens and they see the Buddha.
The present buddhas of the ten directions,
through various causes and conditions,
praise that Buddha's virtues;
I now take refuge and worship.
That land is fully adorned,
surpassing those heavenly palaces;
its virtues are exceedingly profound and vast,
therefore I bow to the Buddha's feet.
The Buddha's feet have thousand-spoked wheels,
soft and of lotus hue;
those who see them all rejoice;
with head to the ground I bow to the Buddha's feet.
The white curl of hair between his eyebrows shines
just like the pure moon,
enhancing the light and hue of his face;
with head to the ground I bow to the Buddha's feet.
When he originally sought the Buddha Path,
he practiced various wondrous deeds,
as expounded in the sūtras;
with head to the ground I bow in worship.
What that Buddha speaks
eradicates all roots of sin;
his fine words bring great benefit;
I now bow my head in worship.
With these fine teachings,
he cures the illness of attachment to pleasure;
having crossed beings over, he still crosses them over now,
therefore I bow my head in worship.
Most venerable among humans and devas,
the devas bow with heads to the ground;
he wears a crown of seven jewels and maṇi gems,
therefore I take refuge.
To the whole assembly of wise and noble ones,
and to all the multitudes of humans and devas,
I take refuge together;
therefore I also worship.
Riding that boat of the eightfold path,
he can cross the sea that is hard to cross;
having crossed himself over, he also crosses others over;
I bow to the Sovereign One.
Even if the buddhas for immeasurable kalpas
praised his virtues,
they still could not exhaust them;
I take refuge in the Pure Person.
I now likewise
praise his immeasurable virtues;
through this meritorious cause and condition,
may the Buddha ever be mindful of me.
Whatever merit I have from previous lives,
whether great or small,
may my mind before the Buddha
always attain purity.
Through this meritorious cause and condition,
whatever superior and wondrous virtues are attained,
may all sentient beings
likewise fully obtain them."
