問曰：如《金剛般若經》云「若以色見我、以音聲求我，是人行邪道，不能見如來」，又《佛藏經》云「見佛者是大邪見」，今云何教人觀阿彌陀佛有八萬四千相耶？

Question: As the Vajracchedikā-prajñāpāramitā Sūtra states: 'If one sees me by form or seeks me by sound, this person walks a heterodox path and cannot see the Tathāgata'; and furthermore, the Buddhapiṭaka Sūtra states: 'To see the Buddha is a great wrong view'—how is it that people are now taught to contemplate Amitābha Buddha as having eighty-four thousand marks?
