3.58

問曰：淨土者，乃是法藏巧誘之要歸、釋迦懷中之妙術，六道賴之蘇息、四生託以栖神，居淨剎而永安、望娑婆而長揖，寧止修三福蹬乎上品，亦乃發十念而得下生。此則庶類同歸不遺一人矣。而今論者悟我以要術、救我以焚灼，自今以後奉而行之。為頌讚曰：

Question: The pure land is indeed the essential refuge of Dharmākara's skillful guidance, the wondrous technique held in Śākyamuni's heart. The six destinies rely on it to catch their breath; the four modes of birth entrust themselves to it to lodge their spirits. Residing in the pure realm, they are at eternal peace; gazing back upon Sahā, they bid a lasting farewell. How could it merely be that cultivating the three blessings allows one to ascend to the highest grade? Even giving rise to ten recitations allows one to attain birth in the lower grade! Thus all classes of beings return together, leaving not a single person behind. Now the treatise master has enlightened me with this essential technique and saved me from the blazing fire; from this day forward I shall revere and practice it. In praise, the verse says:
