次明助因。助因多種，經、論往往，不須委述，一一准知。今且明其下輩十念，此經中、下輩十念，一言之內，含有二義：謂顯了義，及隱密義。

Next, explaining the auxiliary causes. Auxiliary causes are of many kinds, appearing frequently across sūtras and treatises, and need not be detailed here; each may be known by analogy. Now, we shall briefly clarify the ten recitations for the lower grade. In the ten recitations for the middle and lower grades in this sūtra, within a single expression two meanings are contained: namely, the explicit meaning and the implicit meaning.
