繇茲雲棲大師深服膺斯書，歎篤信明解，大有功於淨土，甞無駁言而還彰偏見過失矣！古梓誵訛是多，今獲國歡寺本，專隨之正之，但疑楊傑序轉用之。冀祈同志之仁講再挍本，傳之無窮之里，俱入薩雲之海而已。

It is because of this that Master Yunqi deeply held this book to heart, sighing with admiration at its solid faith and clear understanding, and its great service to the Pure Land; he never voiced a word of objection, but rather brought to light the faults of one-sided views! Old woodblocks contain many corruptions and errors; having now obtained the edition from Guohuan Monastery, I have followed it exclusively to correct them, though I suspect Yang Jie's preface was adopted second-hand. I hope and pray that benevolent scholars of like mind will collate the text again, transmitting it across boundless regions, so that all together may enter the ocean of sarvajña (all-knowledge).
