無量清淨佛國，其諸菩薩阿羅漢各自行道，中有在地講經、誦經、坐禪者，有在虛空講經、經行者，中有未得須陀洹道者則得須陀洹道、未得斯陀含道者則得斯陀含道、未得阿那含道者則得阿那含道、未得阿羅漢道者則得阿羅漢道、未得阿惟越致者則得阿惟越致，各自行道，莫不歡喜。又《彌陀經》云「彼佛弟子皆阿羅漢，非是算數。」又《觀經》中中三品人生彼聞法，皆得阿羅漢果。

In the land of the Buddha of Immeasurable Purity, the various bodhisattvas and arhats each practice the Way by themselves: among them, there are those who lecture on the sūtras, chant the sūtras, and sit in meditation on the ground; there are those who lecture on the sūtras and practice walking meditation in empty space; among them, those who have not attained the path of the srotāpanna attain the path of the srotāpanna; those who have not attained the path of the sakṛdāgāmin attain the path of the sakṛdāgāmin; those who have not attained the path of the anāgāmin attain the path of the anāgāmin; those who have not attained the path of the arhat attain the path of the arhat; those who have not attained avaivartika attain avaivartika. They each practice the Way by themselves, and none do not rejoice. Furthermore, the Amitābha Sūtra states: 'The disciples of that Buddha are all arhats, beyond calculation.' Furthermore, the Contemplation Sūtra states that when people of the three middle grades are born there and hear the Dharma, they all attain the fruit of arhatship.
