Toward the west where the sun sets, / From afar I gaze upon the countenance of Great Compassion:
His eyes are clear like the water of the turquoise ocean, / His body shines like a purple-golden mountain.
With diligent mindfulness one will certainly be reborn, / Therefore it is called Ultimate Bliss.
Netted pearls and precious trees, / Heavenly blossoms scattered over fragrant chambers.
Clearly before our eyes in this painting, / We vow to entrust ourselves to that place of enlightenment.
By means of this ocean of merit, / May the unseen protection serve as a boat and bridge.
The transgressions of eighty koṭis of kalpas / Are like light frost swept away by the wind;
May we gaze upon Measureless Life / Forever emitting the light of his jade curl.
