杳彼曜靈，心乎葵傾，濛氾餘丈，
六龍輟行。如鼓在懸，如壁之英，
斂目作對，累念主成。赫赫圓象，
惚怳中生，履霜堅至，存乎著明。
導想向方，戒神遐征，室其在斯，
故面長庚。

Far off is that radiant luminary; / the heart inclines to it like a sunflower. / When the Mengfan pool has but a few fathoms left, / the six dragons halt their journey. / Like a suspended drum, / like the brilliance of a jade disc. / Restraining the gaze to confront it, / accumulated thoughts take it as their focus. / The brilliant, circular image / arises from within the indistinct; / treading on frost, solid ice arrives— / it resides in being clearly evident. / Directing the thoughts toward that quarter, / cautioning the spirit against roving far away; / the abode being right here, / one therefore faces the Evening Star.
