The Baowang lun states: "One who bathes in the great ocean has already made use of the waters of a hundred rivers; one who recites the buddha's name will surely achieve samādhi. It is just like dropping a water-clearing jewel into turbid water—the turbid water cannot but become clear; casting the thought of the buddha into a scattered mind—the scattered mind cannot but become buddhic. Once attuned, mind and buddha both vanish. Mind and buddha having vanished, the myriad conditions and myriad realms are nothing other than samādhi."
