2.44

橫出三界少人知，易修易往勿狐疑，塵垢未除求解脫，一心信願念阿彌。臨終正念分明去，三朝七日預知時，既生淨土常聞法，何愁不得悟心機。

Few know the horizontal transcendence of the three realms;
It is easy to cultivate and easy to go to—do not harbor doubts.
With dust and defilements not yet removed, seeking liberation,
Single-mindedly, with faith and vow, be mindful of Amitābha.
At the end of life, depart with right mindfulness clear and distinct;
Know the time in advance three days or seven days prior.
Once born in the Pure Land, constantly hearing the Dharma,
Why worry that one will not awaken to the mind's workings?
