Second, the Pure Land of the Guan Wuliangshou jing. This is for that portion of sentient beings who do not yet believe in the real principle of the emptiness of dharmas and take pleasure in wondrous physical characteristics, causing their minds to imagine and contemplate those physical forms; because the contemplation is accomplished, they are born in the Buddha land. This is expedient, not real.
