Seventh, the Other-Dependent Pure Land: as the Brahmajāla-sūtra says: 'I, Rocana, now sit upon the lotus pedestal; upon the thousand surrounding petals, again appear a thousand Śākyamunis; one petal holds a hundred kotis of lands, each land has one Śākyamuni.' In this manner, because the first ground transforms a hundred Buddha-lands, there is a flower of a hundred petals; the second ground transforms a thousand Buddha-lands, hence the flower has a thousand petals; when reaching the third ground, ten thousand petals should be seen; at the fourth ground, kotis of petals, progressively doubling and multiplying. Because it is the other-dependent enjoyment body, partially revealing the reward realm, it is only seen upon entering the grounds; it is not like the Assembly at the Lotus Pond, where beings of ten recitations頓頓 directly see the pure Buddha-land.
