Aspiring to rebirth, aspiring to rebirth! / Having attained nirvāṇa, he constantly abides in the world; / His lifespan is extended, hard to measure: / Thousands of eons, myriads of eons, eons like Ganges sands, / Millions and billions of eternal eons, also without end. / Sitting in one place without moving or stirring, / Reaching through to the final limit of the future, he emits bodily light. / His wondrous demeanor and marks are of true gold colour; / Magnificently he sits alone to deliver sentient beings. / Ordinary beings and holy ones of the ten directions focus their minds toward him; / He dispatches his divided bodies and emanations to go and welcome them. / In a single thought-moment riding through the void, they enter the Buddha's assembly; / Their bodily colours and lifespans are completely equal. / The assembly, turning their minds, all aspire to go; / Holding fragrant flowers in hand, they ever make offerings.
