稽首天人所恭敬，阿彌陀仙兩足尊，
在彼微妙安樂國，無量佛子眾圍遶。
I bow my head to the One revered by devas and humans,
the rṣi Amitābha, the Two-Footed Honoured One,
who in that subtle, wondrous Land of Peace and Bliss
is encircled by an assembly of immeasurable Buddha-sons.
