稽首天人所恭敬，阿彌陀佛兩足尊，
在彼微妙安樂國，無量佛子眾圍遶，
故我頂禮彌陀佛。

I bow my head to the One revered by devas and humans,
Amitābha Buddha, the most honoured among two-footed beings,
in that subtle and wondrous Land of Peace and Joy,
surrounded by an assembly of immeasurable Buddha-sons;
therefore I bow my head to Amitābha Buddha.
