1.181

自從無始受身來，恒以十惡加眾生，
不孝父母謗三寶，造作五逆不善業。
以是眾罪因緣故，妄想顛倒生纏縛，
應受無量生死苦，頂禮懺悔願滅除。

Since receiving a body in beginningless time,
I have constantly inflicted the ten unwholesome actions upon sentient beings,
Been unfilial to parents, slandered the Three Jewels,
And committed the unwholesome karma of the five heinous crimes.
Due to the causes and conditions of these manifold sins,
Delusive thinking and inverted views produced bonds and fetters;
I ought to undergo immeasurable suffering of birth and death;
Bowing my head in repentance, I vow that they be extinguished.
