往生淨土懺願儀 1.22

1.22

一心奉請南無十方現在不動佛等盡十方河沙淨土一切諸佛。（此十方諸佛，皆出廣長舌相，遍覆大千，稱讚極樂，是故須請求護念。故出《稱讚淨土經》。請時應想，從彼十方來，改偈云「十方諸佛亦如是」，餘皆同前。）

With singlemindedness I reverently invoke: namo Akṣobhya Buddha and all other Buddhas of the present in the ten directions, throughout all the Pure Lands across the ten directions, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges. (These Buddhas of the ten directions all extend their broad and long tongues, covering the chiliocosm, to praise Sukhāvatī; therefore one must invoke them to seek their protective mindfulness. Thus it appears in the Praise of the Pure Land Sūtra. When invoking, one should visualize them coming from those ten directions, changing the verse to say: "The Buddhas of the ten directions are also like this." The rest is all as before.)
