師與密師伯過水次，乃問曰：「過水事作麼生？」伯曰：「不濕脚。」師曰：「老老大大作這箇語話。」伯曰：「爾作麼生道？」師曰：「脚不濕。」

While crossing a stream with Senior Uncle Mi, the Master asked, "What about the matter of crossing the stream?" Uncle said, "Not wetting the feet." The Master said, "An old man speaking words like this!" Uncle said, "How would you say it?" The Master said, "The feet are not wet."
