師因看稻田次，朗上座牽牛。師曰：「這箇牛須好看，恐喫稻去。」朗云：「若是好牛，應不喫稻。」

While the Master was inspecting the paddy fields, Senior Monk Lang was leading an ox. The Master said: "This ox must be watched closely, for fear it will eat the rice plants." Lang said: "If it is a good ox, it should not eat the rice plants."
