問：「靈衣不挂時如何？」師曰：「曹山孝滿。」云：「孝滿後如何？」師曰：「曹山好顛酒。」
A monk asked, "What happens when the spirit-robe is not worn?" The Master said, "Caoshan's mourning is fulfilled." The monk said, "What happens after mourning is fulfilled?" The Master said, "Caoshan is fond of drunken revelry."
