師因米和尚至，未相見，米遂坐却禪床，師更不出，米便去。主事遂問：「和尚禪床，為什麼被別人坐却？」師曰：「去後却還來。」米果回，與師相見。

Because Master Mi had arrived, before they had met, Mi went and sat on the meditation bed. The Master did not come out, so Mi left. The director of affairs then asked, "Why has the Master's meditation bed been sat upon by someone else?" The Master said, "After going, he will return again." Mi indeed came back and met with the Master.
