舉古云：「一念劫收一切智。」師拈起拄杖云：「乾坤大地總在上頭，若透得去，拄杖也不見有。直饒與麼，也是不著便。」

[Yunmen] brought up an ancient saying: "A single thought gathers all kalpas and all wisdom." The Master raised his staff and said, "Heaven and earth, the great earth, are all right on top. If you can penetrate through, even the staff is not seen to exist. Even if it is so, it is still not convenient."
