舉：「睦州問僧：『莫便是清華嚴麼？』僧云：『不敢。』州云：『夢見華嚴麼？』僧無語。」師云：「門前大狼藉生。」

[Yunmen] brought up [the following]: "Muzhou asked a monk, 'Aren't you Qinghuayan?' The monk said, 'I would not dare.' Muzhou said, 'Have you dreamed of Huayan?' The monk had no words." The Master said, "What a great mess in front of the gate!"
