舉：「僧問趙州：『如何是妙峯頂？』州云：『不答爾者話。』僧云：『為什麼不答。』州云：『我若答，落在平地。』」師代云：「俱胝和尚。」

[Yunmen] brought up [the following]: "A monk asked Zhaozhou, 'What is the peak of the wondrous mountain?' Zhaozhou said, 'I do not answer these words of yours.' The monk said, 'Why do you not answer?' Zhaozhou said, 'If I answer, I fall to the flat ground.'" The Master said on his behalf, "Upādhyāya Juzhi."
