舉：「泉州王太傅問僧：『上座住甚處。』僧云：『半月山。』傅云：『忽遇月頭月尾，又作麼生？』僧無語。」師代云：「將謂與麼，更有與麼。」

He cited: "Grand Tutor Wang of Quanzhou asked a monk, 'Where do you abide, Elder?' The monk said, 'Mount Ban Yue (Half Moon).' The Grand Tutor said, 'If you suddenly encounter the beginning of the month or the end of the month, what then?' The monk was speechless." The Master spoke on his behalf, saying, "Supposing it were like that, there is still this!"
