師或云：「全抽半抽作麼生道？」復云：「作麼生是半抽？」代云：「跳出死蝦蟇。」又云：「作麼生是全抽？」代云：「案山雷，主山雨。」

The Master would sometimes say, "How do you speak of pulling out entirely or pulling out halfway?" He added, "What is pulling out halfway?" Answering on their behalf, he said, "A dead toad leaps out." He also said, "What is pulling out entirely?" Answering on their behalf, he said, "Thunder on the table mountain, rain on the host mountain."
