或云：「作麼生是不再問底句？」代云：「今年春氣早，夜來陽鳥啼。」又云：「佛殿裏裝香，三門前合掌。」

Or he would say, "What is a phrase about not asking again?" Answering on their behalf, he said, "The warmth of spring comes early this year; during the night the sunbird cries." He also said, "Burn incense in the Buddha hall; join palms before the triple gate."
