上堂，大眾集已，師云：「大眾齋去。」却問僧：「爾道我教伊去，還有過也無？」代云：「也不是和尚特地如此。」

Ascending the hall, when the great assembly had gathered, the Master said, "Great assembly, go to the meal." He then asked a monk, "You tell me: when I tell them to go, is there any fault or not?" Answering on their behalf, he said, "It is not that the upādhyāya acted specially in this way."
