因齋時打帳座一下云：「這箇喫。」又打飯床一下云：「這箇不喫。」代云：「一槌兩當。」

At mealtime, he struck the curtain frame once and said, "This eats." He struck the dining table once and said, "This does not eat." Answering on their behalf, he said, "One mallet hit serves both."
