因般米，問僧：「人擔米，米擔人？」代云：「總得。」又云：「般米辛苦猶是可。」

While carrying rice, he asked a monk, "Does the person carry the rice, or does the rice carry the person?" Answering on their behalf, he said, "Both are fine." He also said, "The toil of carrying rice is still acceptable."
