舉：「國師三喚侍者，侍者三應，國師云：『將謂吾辜負爾，謂知爾辜負吾。』」師云：「作麼生是吾辜負爾處？爾若會得，也是無端。」又云：「作麼生是侍者辜負國師處？」師云：「粉骨碎身未報得。」

He brought up: "The National Teacher called his attendant three times, and the attendant responded three times. The National Teacher said: 'I thought I had failed you, but unexpectedly you have failed me.'" The Master said, "Where is it that 'I failed you'? If you understand, it is also without cause." He also said, "Where is it that the attendant failed the National Teacher?" The Master said, "Even smashing his bones and crushing his body could not repay it."
