師問僧：「餬餅是什麼人做？」僧拈起餬餅，師云：「這箇且放一邊，長連床上學得來。餅餅是甚人做？」僧云：「和尚莫瞞某甲好。」師云：「這虛頭漢。」

The Master asked a monk, "Who made this sesame cake?" The monk held up the cake. The Master said, "Set this aside for a moment; it was learned from the long connected bench. Who made the pancake-cakes?" The monk said, "Upādhyāya, you had better not deceive me." The Master said, "This fraudulent fellow!"
