師到歸宗，僧問：「大眾雲集，合談何事？」宗云：「兩兩三三。」僧云：「不會。」宗云：「三三兩兩。」師却問其僧：「歸宗意旨如何？」僧云：「全體與麼來。」師云：「上座曾到潭州龍牙麼？」僧云：「曾到來。」師云：「打野榸漢。」

When the Master arrived at Guizong, a monk asked Guizong, "The great assembly has gathered like clouds; what should be discussed?" Guizong said, "Twos and threes." The monk said, "I do not understand." Guizong said, "Threes and twos." The Master then asked that monk, "What is Guizong's meaning?" The monk said, "The complete body comes just like this." The Master said, "Has the elder monk ever been to Longya in Tānzhou?" The monk said, "I have been there." The Master said, "You fellow of clearing wild stumps!"
