3.25

問僧：「看什麼經？」云：「《般若燈論》。」師云：「西天金剛座上，甚人說佛法？」僧云：「和尚合知。」師云：「爾夢見麼？」無語，代云：「不獨某甲。」代前語云：「跳出死蝦蟇。」又云：「將謂西天無。」又云：「墮。」

He asked a monk, "What treatise are you reading?" He said, "The Prajñāpradīpa-śāstra." The Master said, "On the vajrāsana in India, who preaches the Buddhadharma?" The monk said, "The upādhyāya ought to know." The Master said, "Have you seen it in a dream?" There was no reply. Answering on his behalf, he said, "Not only me." Answering on his behalf for the previous remark, he said, "A dead toad leaps out." He also said, "I took it that India lacked one." He also said, "Fallen."
